Boracay Experience Part 4: Never Missed Sunset View, Fire Dancing and Night Life
Around 6PM of March 2, 2012 everybody at the beach anticipated to witness the ever magnificent sunset view. It was just a wow! The moment I saw the sunset the more I am in awe of God’s wonderful creation. The experience is just priceless.
It was like everyone had been waiting for the sunset. People hurriedly get their cameras to take a still of the sunset. It was a feast to everyone’s eyes. My camera did not do any justice. But they say pictures paint a thousand words so I’ll show you what I got.
So came the night. We had a short chit chat in Crystal Sand (Station 1) while my friends grabbed some beer. By 7PM Ivy and I went back to our room to rinse ourselves and prepare for dinner. Going back to our resort was a bit hard. We were lost. We did not know we already reached Station 3. Yeah, you really need to remember the whereabouts so you will not be lost.
We had a sumptuous dinner in Boracay Victory Beach Resort (Station 2). They had this eat-all-you-can dinner for only PhP 250.00/head with unlimited iced tea. By that time, I had a plate full of crabs, adobong squid, pork barbecue and of course a platter of rice. haha Well, the dishes they prepared were ordinary. What can you expect for a PhP 250.00/head eat-all-you-can dinner in Boracay?
By 10PM we went back to Station 1 where we can see fire dancing. The time we got there, these talented individuals, they called themselves Phoenix Fire Dancers, danced with the tune Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas (Choose Philippines). It was an eye popping performance! That was the first time I actually saw fire dancing. They were graceful and I was wondering if they could not feel any heat of the things they were holding. They were just enjoying in dancing. Well, it is part of their work. I was about to upload the video I recorded but my internet sucks.
After they danced they will collect some money from the spectator and you could take a picture with them as your souvenir. Nikki got offended by one of the dancers who just yelled to us “Pwede manghingi ng pera?” He could have rephrased his words so Nikki won’t be offended. hehe
After that fire dancing performance, we then looked for a good deal for our tomorrow’s activity. We were thinking to get good deals for island hopping and banana boat riding. Marvic being our leader was the one who negotiated to Miss Lyn. We planned to start our island hopping by 9AM tomorrow that time.
While the rest were restless I was tired and wanted to sleep. Nikki and I went back to our room as early as 12AM that time. We needed to wake up early at 7AM for our buffet breakfast. So I slept. zZzzzzz
That is all for now. Thank you guys for reading.
