The Gathering at Mountain View Nature’s Park, Brgy. Busay, Cebu City

November 19, 2010 · by Macky · in Cebu Life

Ever wonder how Cebu City would look like at night? Of course you would imagine the lights sparkling like stars across your eyes. Just recently, my college buddies and I went to Mountain View Nature’s Park in Brgy. Busay, Cebu City to experience such majestic bird’s eye view of Metro Cebu City. We enjoyed the whole night and half of our day when we were there. I’d like to give you a tour of the said place. At 8:30pm, we gathered ourselves in JY Square Mall and ride in the resort’s van. The charge of the van is PhP 400.00 one way and a maximum of 10 persons, PhP 40.00/head in excess of 10 persons. Around 9pm, we arrived in the said place. There is an entrance fee of PhP 50.00/head.

Arriving in the place, choosing the cottage and spending the whole night

We chose their Family Room non-air-con good for 4 persons at PhP 1,500.00 The room has toilet and bath, two regular sized beds and a veranda.

The vicinity map. The place is really huge and by looking on this map, you will know the where to of the place.

This is what I am talking about. This is Cebu City at night. Captured right in the verandah of our cottage.

outside our cottage

Our cottage.

Another city view, taken near the door of our cottage. I can not help it but appreciate the place.

There are several tables and benches available good for people who likes to gather, sit and talk.

I took about 420 steps just to get in our cottage. This is the path going to our room.

A sneak peak of our room which has 2 beds in it. Say hi to Daidai and Kitoy.

Many sculptures are in the place. The T-Rex and it was like ready to invade Cebu City.

The vicinity map as seen from the veranda of our cottage and the mini restaurant.

Cebu City at night…

Just by gazing on the lights, you will be comforted and relaxed.

You will definitely have a good talk with your friends if you sit on the bench see saw.

Videoke time. You sing and you pay PhP 5.00

Reminiscing college years inside the room.

Goodbye night! Time for the sun to rise…

It is about time for sunrise.

So those are the pictures I can share… while there are things that can not be described on the pictures… Let me tell you that when you are in Mountain View Nature Park, the wind that will touch your face/skin is very fresh and cool… however you need to sweat first before you can travel all the surroundings. There are the still places of the resort we did not visit because it was tiring… you need to hike for so many steps… going back and forth in our cottage would literally lose you 10 pounds.
