Print anywhere from any device using Google Cloud Print

October 10, 2011 · by Macky · in Technology

Google Inc. recently launched a new technology called Google Cloud Print. This enables your printer to be connected on the internet. Before, our laptops/computers need to be connected to a Local Area Network so we can get access to a printer but now we have another way to print using Google Cloud Print. Just be sure you are connected to the internet. Well, not only you can print from your laptops or computers but you can print from your smart phones.

I posted a video, courtesy from Google, to give an idea how this Google Print Cloud works and how is it important.

How To Enable Google Cloud Print?

You need to have Google Chrome browser and of course a Google account so you can use this technology. I’ll help you how to set up Google Cloud Print on your PC.

1. Open your Google Chrome. Click the Wrench button and then click Options. (Refer to the illustration below.)

Manage Your Printers and Share It To Your Friends.

So you want to help your friends print their documents for a fee? Your friend does not need to come to your office or house to get his/her documents printed. You might just share your printer to him/her and after then you can just give the printed docs later during your shift or next meeting.

To manage and share your printers, go to http://www.google.com/cloudprint/manage.html Just follow the illustration below.

SO what are you waiting for? Try it now. This application is free.

  • Sentosa Island is very developed yet it preserves the beauty of nature. The place is truly for tourist. Every corner is a perfect spot for picture taking.
