Bunzie’s Cove of Tabogon, Cebu

February 12, 2011 · by Macky · in Cebu Life

If you are working in a call center industry, you probably have joined in team building activities. So where did your group go the last time? You see… planning a team building is not that easy. You have to consider a place where the whole group can agree and you have to consider a budget so everyone in the team can afford and can possibly go.

So having said that… I am going to share with you a place where you might go for a team building activity. The place is called Bunzie’s Cove located in Tabogon, Cebu. The place is perfect for team building.

It was a one night activity. We were 11 with 2 kids and we accommodated their so called Terrace Look Out worth 8K good for 8 persons. It has two floors which is really perfect for us. We decided that the room downstairs is for men and upstairs for ladies. Each room is air conditioned. Inside, you can see two queen sized beds, a refrigerator and a tower fan. No cable TV though. And of course, toilet and bath.

The room we got has a private swimming pool overlooking the sea. Beside the pool are the kitchen and the dining area. So one can witness a great ambiance while eating.

These are the pictures I got as a proof:

Cebu Northbus Terminal. It was my first time to come here.

Ceres. I thought this vehicle could transport us to Bunzies Cove.

Apparently, we ended riding in a bus as good as this. Duh. Typical Philippine bus.

After 2 hours of driving, we finally arrived in our room. They called this Terrace Look Out.

The swimming pool and the sea as seen from the room downstairs.

On the way down to the swimming pool and the kitchen.

The swimming pool as seen from the left.

The swimming pool as seen from the right, near the kitchen.

The kitchen.

The dining area.

High chairs good for chit chatting while facing the sea.

The cliff.

The spa room located at the left side of the pool.

The two level cottage as seen from the swimming pool

I don\’t know these flowers but they\’re lovely.

The gumamela flowers.

Those were all the pictures I can share. I am sorry if I did not post the pictures inside the room. We did not really spend the time inside the room because when we arrived the previous guests did not leave the house yet. They were supposed to leave at 12pm but we were able to settle our things at 2pm. As part of this inconvenience, the manager of the resort gave us a discount. Of course we have to ask a refund. But I can tell you the room was okay. It was clean enough for a guest, you know what I mean.

One of the reasons why I like the place is because of its exclusivity. We were the only guests who enjoyed the swimming pool. None other guests from other cottages used the pool. It was really exclusive for us. I think every cottages of Bunzie’s Cove has each a private swimming pool, a dining area and a kitchen. The place is quiet. If you like to buy something at the market, the caretaker of the house is willing enough to get you a vehicle. The staff are friendly as well.

What I don’t like is the traveling time. Being inside the bus is the worst experience I have. But it was all worth it.
