Boracay Experience Part 6: Island Hopping and Helmet Diving
After that star studded breakfast, we then prepared for our island hopping activity. At 10AM, we were all seated in a bangka… so loud, amazed, energetic, excited what would happen next and what else? That very moment we felt the cool breeze of the air. The weather was perfect for island hopping!
Boracay Experience Part 3: The Talipapa Market and The Long White Sand Beach
Right after we checked in our things in Boracay Courtyard Beach Resort around 1PM March 2 we decided to go to the Talipapa Market to eat our lunch. The Talipapa Market in Station 2 is just a few meters away from our resort.
The market has many stalls where a variety of pasalubongs can be bought – t-shirts, key chains, bags, boardwalk shorts etc… every stuff you need that has to do with Boracay beach can be bought in Talipapa Market.
Boracay Experience Part 2: Iloilo City to Caticlan, Malay, Aklan
As planned we need to wake up as early as 5AM so we can leave Iloilo City at 6AM. But in reality, we left Iloilo City at 7AM. We bought our breakfast in Jollibee and just ate inside the van. We hired 2 vans just to accomodate all of us. You know, we were all 21. The deal of the van transportation was PhP 835/head back and forth, that is Iloilo City – Caticlan vice versa. Our goal was to arrive in Boracay before lunch.

Oh yeah. It was a four hour long drive. You see I was not able to sleep inside the van. I forced to close my eyes but still I was not able to sleep. I instead forced myself to find pleasure of the places we passed by. Well, I was intrigued to see Panay Power Plant. It is so unusual to see such plant. I think it was the first time I saw a power plant. Was not able to take a picture of the said plant though. Also, there is another city of Iloilo and that is Passi City. Hmmm… many cities in the Philippines. And if you find Makati City in the Philippines, there is a place called Makato and that is somewhere in Aklan. haha See, I learned something in our road trip. LOL
