Cebu City: a recent visit

I was in Cebu last weekend February 8-9. Too bad because I was not able to attend our Sunday Worship Service at church. I visited Cebu for some business matters that helped me a lot financially.

While I was in Cebu, I didn’t miss the chance to go to a CD R King Store. I was glad because on my first day, we got our lunch in Robinsons Mall. I am sure the mall is located in Fuente Osmeña Avenue. Am i right, cebuanos? It was my first time to get inside the mall. Yeah. I’ve already been to SM Cebu and Ayala Cebu but I never had chance to be inside in Robinsons Mall or either the Gaisano Mall. I was glad even more because Lucien who was with me on that time for lunch told me that there is a CD R King Store inside the Robinson.

And as usual, buying CD R King stuff will cause you to spend many minutes for a queueu. I bought my new web cam for only PhP 380, 1 GB micro SD for only PhP 280 and 20 blank DVD-Rs for only PhP 160. Pretty cheap huh? I just tested the webcam when I got back home and I did not find it good. Trust me. Well, the micro SD is working fine.

It’s kind of weird though because the first word that comes to my mind in speaking of Cebu is CD R King. I can’t blame myself though, it would be more easy for us if CD R King will open a branch in Tagbilaran.

With my new 1 GB micro SD for my Nokia 3110c phone, I took shots of Fuente Osmeña with the skyscrapers located along the avenue. I saw the present tallest building of Cebu City owned by Crown Regency Hotel near me. Well, I am a skyscraper noob. hahaha

I admit I am looking forward of getting a good job in Cebu City. But for now, I need to graduate first.

UPDATE – Sept 14, 2010

I am actually now working in Cebu City and the place is no longer new to me. It seems like this is my second home, Bohol is the first. So if you are looking for pictures of the tallest building of Cebu City and the famous Fuente Osmena Circle, it is my pleasure to give you an update.
